If It’s Not Fun, It Won’t Get Done

As a business owner of over 13 years, one of the biggest things that I’ve discovered, is… “if it’s not fun, it won’t get done”.

And I say that because I spent at least 10 years of my business, “efforting” it… which worked great, however

• “Efforting” takes a toll mentally, physically and emotionally
• There is only so much “efforting” you can do and…. Most of all….
• I knew there must be a different way….

An easier and more fun way!

Running your business can be time consuming.

In fact, I’m sure that you’ve probably spent countless hours thinking about your business…

Truth be told, you’re probably obsessed by it!  And why not? It’s not only your livelihood… it’s also your passion, right?

And when you’ve put so much of yourself into something…

When it comes down to it, what else is business if not fun?

Because let’s face it – you’re probably getting paid to do something that YOU LOVE!

How much more fun can that be?

However…. I know so many business owners who aren’t having fun……

And that’s because you

• Become way too concerned about money
• Lose sight of why you started your business in the first place or
• Forget how to have fun along the way.

The problem with this, is that when you stop having fun, things can become a drag.

And no-one enjoys doing things that seem like a chore.

So one of the fundamental things that I help my clients to do, is to have fun in their business again.

Remember… if it’s not fun, it won’t get done.”

I want you to think back to the last time when you had fun…

What were you doing? Did

• Time seem to fly by
• You enjoy the experience and
• You want to do it again or more of it?

I bet the answer is yes to all three!

And now.. think back to a time when something felt like a chore……

Were you

• Dragging your heels on the task
• Feeling uninspired and
• Completely unmotivated to complete the task?

If your business is starting to feel like a drag…

And you’re making yourself push through your daily tasks…

Because you’re not enjoying your business anymore….

What that means, is that you’ve fallen out of alignment with your business.

And what I mean by that, is that you’re probably so caught up in the how, that you’ve forgotten your why.

Because when you work from your place of WHY, it means that you’re working from a place or service or inspiration.

When you come from your WHY, it often means that you’re connected into your SOUL, your inner self, or higher being.

You’re working from a place of inspiration….  And you’re connected to your spirit….

When you’re connected to spirit, EVERYTHING just becomes easier…AND FUN!

For example – think about a time when you felt in flow…

It’s as if an idea came to you, and you had NO CHOICE but to act on it….

Because you KNEW….

ABSOLULTELY KNEW that it was the right thing to do.

And when you did it… everything just worked out the way you thought it would.

The reason why that happened, was because you were so connected with yourself –

With your Soul – your higher being….

That there was no way that you could not do it.

If you’ve ever felt that before… and decided to follow through….

I bet it was incredibly FUN, right?
